Walk of Hope

Meadow, Room 8, Windsor North School, Year 4-6. Teacher: Harry du Mez.

As an art activity we were asked to take an interesting and then digitally alter it. One of my values is to never give up. The photo demonstrates a walk of life and that you never give up no matter how many times you fall. I edited the background to be colourful because that shows individuality and that you do not need to be like everyone else and just be yourself. I didn't really think about this when I took the photo but I looked at it and realised their are a lot of things you can learn from it.

Well, when I started this project I didn't really have an idea of what I wanted to take a picture of which would demonstrate the learning intention. So I got some ideas of my friend. We took a lot of photos and couldn't pick one. Then out of the blue I came up with a great idea of someone walking along a beam or a long seat. We went out and took almost six photos on the monkey bars and finally decided to take on one of the long seats in the junior bay. It looked great so picked one and learnt how to upload it onto the computer and modify it using
Microsoft word.
