Responsibility

Room 5 (Krystal's Group), Invercargill Middle School, Year 4-6

Our class was focussing on taking still images that showed a message. The children were trying to capture a moment that had them showing responsibility. They worked in groups and brainstormed ideas of what they thought would show this. They decided as a group that sharing fruit with someone who had nothing to eat was a great way to portrait that they can show responsibility for others. They had to think about filling the frame and the rule of thirds to get the picture correct and also had to think about lighting. There group motto was "sharing is caring".

Our dominant image is lonely Jordyn getting handed fruit and taking it we are showing responsibility by caring for him because he doesn’t have any food.

We took the photo from this point of view because the lighting was not too bright or too dark we used the rule of thirds so our picture is balanced.

In the foreground is the table and my group, we all have fruit in our hands. In the background is the school, where the lunch area is.

This is how you show responsibility because sharing is caring.
