All About Me! (Tamzin)

Pukeko, Woodlands Full Primary School, Year 4-6. Teacher: Joyce Wakelin.

The main learning intentions were to:
Find an effective area for their photo that has a good source of colour and light.
Identify the 3 different types of shots when taking a photo and chose which is the most efficient one for them.
Use ICT skills on an iPhone and effects to create their final image.

At the beginning of the year Pukeko Room students took photographs of themselves and manipulated it by adding text of people and objects that are special to them. This was a fun and great task as a lot of talk and discussion was built around these words and why they chose them. Students were very keen to share their reasoning as to why they chose them and why they are so unique. To create their eye-catching photo, students used a program on an Apple iPhone.
