When I Grow Up

This was completed as part of our Minds Alive Global Perspectives Learning.
The big Idea was " Education For All.
Learning Intentions Included:
Present information from a local , national and global perspective
Raise awareness on an issue using multi media.
Reflect on how understanding of issue has changed and on the individual contribution made to the group.
Connect research to the Millennium Development Goals.
Evaluate Apps to use within creating an I Movie.

These girls uncovered this issue after watching a you tube clip where street children shared their dreams for the future if they could attend school. The storyboard for the movie included local,national and global research linked to their research question. The group identified they wanted to interview students of varying ages and arranged this with St Thomas Aquinas School in Winton. The group also made use of Powtoon, puppet pals, and chatter pix to help communicate key research. The group identified roles each member would take within the process.The movie will be shared in a world cafe with other students and presented on the class ultra net page.
