Hunger Games First Aid

Room 10, Winton School, Year 7&8. Teacher: Tania Carran.

In this short movie we intended to show the watchers/viewers how important it is that we learn first aid in school.
We intended to:
inform pupils/adults how important first aid is in an exciting, fun way in a movie that is aimed at all ages.
prove that first aid is not a waste of time and can be used at any point in life.
To make this movie we had to learn a new range of editing skills such as green screening, inspector tools, clip trimmer, background noise reducing, transferring media from different devices, and lots of problem solving discussions. We also had to be patient and respect our actors have their own projects to work on and not juse ours, so time management skills were also important.First of all we planned our movie, who's playing who, where the scenes are going to be shot, whose going to film/edit.
We then planned out each scene part by part and asked who would want to be involved. We then gave our actors scripts and gave them time to learn it. After that we filmed the scenes and the actors were involved in (sometimes multiple times) until we got a reasonable results. Once all scenes were filmed to a reasonable standard we emailed all clips and imported into our classroom desktops/laptops. We edited in imovies and added transitions in between parts. We learnt many new iMovie skills and how to apply advanced tools to improve our movie.
