Cyber Bullying

Digital Citizenship
In acknowledging ourselves as digital citizens we have been learning to recognise the importance of protecting our private information online, the value of taking responsibility for ourselves and our actions, and the necessity of treating others with an appropriate standard of behaviour online. But sometimes people can be mean on the internet or on a mobile phone just like people are mean in real life.

Our group has created a video sharing a message about cyber bullying, in the hope that it will lift the awareness level of those using digital technology.
‘Moonlit’ Films
The purpose of our movie was to get the message of ‘Speak up about Cyber Bullying’ across to our audience.

First we used a story board to write and draw what was going to happen in our movie. Then we added technical features to show how we were going to shoot our video. We then selected our characters and the settings that we were going to use. We used a video camera to shoot our movie. The features we included were panning, high, medium and low shots, zooming in and angles.

After filming we edited our movie using imovie. When we came to add our music we wrote our own song and got Ruby and Mr Hawkins to record it for us.

We achieved our goal of portraying the message to an audience about Cyber Bullying.
