Documentary Criteria
Eligible entrants: The Documentary (Non-Fiction) category is open to New Entrants through to Year 8 students enrolled in Southland schools.
Category One – Year 1-4
Category Two – Year 5-8
Documentary (Non-Fiction) marking criteria.
Entries must be a maximum of five minutes in length (this does not include credits or blank frames.) The presentation can be an original work of fiction or retelling of a non-fiction story.

The Documentary (Non-Fiction) Category will be judged according to the Documentary (Non-Fiction) marking criteria.

- The preferred method of entry is to share a youtube link to your movie. This makes it super easy to put on the MediaMash website
- If you cannot share a youtube link, then the movie must be shared to Google Drive in one of the following formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, WebM
