Commercial Criteria
Eligible entrants: The Commercial category is open to New Entrants through to Year 8 students enrolled in Southland schools.
Category One – Year 1-3
Category Two – Year 4-6
Category Three – Year 7-8
Commercial marking Criteria.
Entries must be 30 to 45 seconds in length (this does not include credits or blank frames.) If an entry goes over the set time frame, 10% of the judges final mark will be deducted. Keeping to the time frame is an essential skill in making a commercial.

- The preferred method of entry is to share a youtube link to your movie. This makes it super easy to put on the MediaMash website
- If you cannot share a youtube link, then the movie must be shared to Google in one of the following formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, WebM
