Runaway Ball

At the start of 2013 Woodlands School PTA bought the children 12 digital cameras to help capture their learning. These have been a wonderful asset for the school and have given many children a voice through photography. We have used the cameras in all curriculum areas and the senior children have enjoyed being photography buddies with the junior children.

I have been taking photos with the new cameras. I have learnt to take photos on an angle using macro and I took some of daffodils because they were bright yellow. Then I wrote a story about them.

I had to take a photo of something I like to do and I took a photo of a basketball because I like playing with balls. I had to knee down to get a mouse shot and focus my camera by waiting for the beep and then pushing the button. Taking photos is fun!
