James Wallace, Room 3, Woodlands Full Primary School. Year 0-3. Teacher, Heidi Wilcox.
At the start of 2013 Woodlands School PTA bought the children 12 digital cameras to help capture their learning. These have been a wonderful asset for the school and have given many children a voice through photography. We have used the cameras in all curriculum areas and the senior children have enjoyed being photography buddies with the junior children.
I had to learn to focus the camera and I used macro to take close up pictures. I also learnt to take mouse, possum and giraffe shots. We had special bubbles that you could catch and when they popped they were all sticky. In my photo I like how you can see the lines of my hand through the bubble.
