As part of a Family Ancestor unit our class were investigating our own family history. Our teacher shared about his Grand parents and how they struggled to overcome challenges and obstacles in their lives. As a class we wanted to show what we discovered in an interesting way that would be able to be shared with family members easily.

Making an ebook using book creator was a logical choice. Students worked together firstly in pairs to explore what the app could do. Students were able to share their new knowledge by demonstrate how to use features such as hyperlinks and including audio to the other class members via the apple TV

As a teacher it was great for me to see the enthusiasm students had in using the technology to create and share something they felt was of worth.
