5 Day Challenge
Thanks for coming to the 5 Day Challenge page.
You have the challenge of creating a movie about Learning at Your School. The main focus of your 5 day challenge movie will be about how learning happens at your school, and what makes learning exciting!
There are a number of 'extras' that you must include in your movie:

Movies must be between 3 and 5 minutes long. There is an entry fee of $10 per entry: your school will be invoiced for this.
Like all entries for MediaMash, all entries will be placed on the mediamash.org.nz website. Finalists will be announced along with regular MediaMash Awards finalists on 10 November 2014. The 5 Day Challenge winner will be announced at the MediaMash Awards on 20 November 2014.

- You have to include the line 'yeah... nah' in your movie
- There has to be a 'photo-bomb' in your movie
- Your movie must contain a message from a 'school celebrity' - this is someone or something important to your school, like the Principal, a school mascot, or that cheeky kid in Room 3 everyone loves.
- You must use a banana as a stand-in prop somewhere it doesn't belong. For example, as a pen for an Interactive Whiteboard or iPad Stylus, or as a phone :)
- Include the Great Southern MediaMash logo (click here to download), a picture of Mashy (here) and the Noel Leeming logo (here)

Entry process
1. Get the video to us by 5pm on Friday 26 September
Preferred option: Upload your movie to youtube and put the youtube url in the form below.
Otherwise: using Dropbox create a folder (name the folder the name of your school or group), and within this folder create a folder for each category you are entering. Share the folder you have created with gsmediamash@gmail.com. The MediaMash team will then download and co-ordinate your entries for the judges.
